FAQ: Why do we say 20lbs OR 8 inches?
We start with 20lbs because that is the measurement that most people have in their heads as a measurement of progress. 

However as you can see from many of the transformations above, the results can be dramatic, even when the pounds don't drop as much. This is where the inches come in.

When many people start strength training, they build muscle that takes the place of body fat, resulting in the inches changing SIGNIFICANTLY more than the lbs on the scale. They are losing significant amounts of fat and they look dramatically more fit, but the scale does not reflect that change because lean metabolically active muscle is being added.

The question is... Do you want FAT loss? Or do you just want to weigh less on the scale despite not changing body composition?

Anyone can crash diet, but it's a SKILL to lose inches while building lean muscle that fuels your metabolism. This is what we teach you to do.

To give one more example, take a look at Ian's inches lost above compared to anyone else's - They're essentially the same! However because Ian has a strength training base, his muscle mass increase wasn't as significant and his resulting weight loss was more despite VERY similar top 3 and total inches.

Scale weight is just ONE measurement of progress and it is skewed and affected by countless other factors. It absolutely can go down as you progress over time, but the results most people want (looking better, fitting clothes better, being healthier, etc.) come from inches lost, visual change in pictures, and maybe some weight loss as well - particularly if you are starting from a heavier weight to begin with.

Q: I'm not sure if I should do this... What if I'm scared that I'm going to fail again?

Q: Can't I just do keto or workout DVDs or hire a personal trainer and get the same results?
A: It might work for a small percentage of people, however for MOST people it's not the workouts or the nutrition that's the problem... It's actually doing it over a long period of time (aka the skill of consistency) that is the problem. THAT is why a coaching program like this is so much more effective for long-term change than buying surface level nutrition or workouts. Both nutrition and workouts ARE valuable and you do need to learn how to eat right and exercise (we teach both in this program), however they are not sufficient on their own.

One of our core principles is called the 70-30 principle. We have discovered that 70% of your LONG-TERM results come down to your "internal skills" (habits, beliefs, mindset, planning, finding things you enjoy, etc.) and just 30% of your results come from the nutritional changes and workouts. So if you are just getting 30% of the equation, of course the results won't last!

Q: I think I just need to get more motivated / I just need to be more disciplined.
A: We hear this all the time. Here's the thing, if you could "just get more motivated" or "just be more disciplined", you already would be. The desire IS there. So we have to ask, why hasn't it worked? The truth is motivation and discipline aren't things you can "just do". 

They take beliefs, mindset and internal work that only really comes from coaching, therapy or deep introspection over the course of years.
