Q: Can't I just do keto or workout DVDs or hire a personal trainer and get the same results?
A: It might work for a small percentage of people, however for MOST people it's not the workouts or the nutrition that's the problem... It's actually doing it over a long period of time (aka the skill of consistency) that is the problem. THAT is why a coaching program like this is so much more effective for long-term change than buying surface level nutrition or workouts. Both nutrition and workouts ARE valuable and you do need to learn how to eat right and exercise (we teach both in this program), however they are not sufficient on their own.
One of our core principles is called the 70-30 principle. We have discovered that 70% of your LONG-TERM results come down to your "internal skills" (habits, beliefs, mindset, planning, finding things you enjoy, etc.) and just 30% of your results come from the nutritional changes and workouts. So if you are just getting 30% of the equation, of course the results won't last!
Q: I think I just need to get more motivated / I just need to be more disciplined.
A: We hear this all the time. Here's the thing, if you could "just get more motivated" or "just be more disciplined", you already would be. The desire IS there. So we have to ask, why hasn't it worked? The truth is motivation and discipline aren't things you can "just do".
They take beliefs, mindset and internal work that only really comes from coaching, therapy or deep introspection over the course of years. On top of that, most people are fighting an impossible battle trying to discipline their way through significant life obstacles all on their own with no support or systems. This isn't going to work. We need to make the job easier, so that willpower is only a minor part of the equation. This is what this program is all about.
